10 Tips For Success With The Law Of Attraction

I know that many of you out there are having a hard time putting the Law of Attraction into daily practice. With every day life bearing down on us, things can be very overwhelming at times making it very difficult to keep our thoughts and our emotions on whatever it is that we want out of life. Here are a few tips to help you apply the law of attraction to your daily life more productively and more effectively.

1. Write down what you want. So few people create a list of what it is they want out of life, and even fewer people actually put it down on paper. Take the time to write down everything you want to do, have, and be.

2. Develop the habit of reviewing your list everyday. Set aside just 10 minutes a day. That's all it takes. Take the time to review your list, visualize those things on your list, and feel the feelings of having those things right now. Within a few days, it will become a habit to review your list and visualize those things you want. The hardest part is taking that first step.

3. Make it a habit to do something everyday that moves you closer to what it is you want. Take action every single day. Just like visualizing what you want, after a few days it will become a habit. And the more you make it a habit, the more you will want to do it. As you begin to see results from your actions, and the more you get closer to what you want, the more it will become an addiction to go after what you want. Take action now, and in a very short time you will be amazed at how easy it is to get what you want, and keep taking those steps toward bigger and better things.

4. Avoid negative people, places, and things. This is one of the hardest to do. As humans, we are habitual creatures. We hang around the same people, visit the same places, and do the same things until new habits are formed. You may need to face the fact that your Friday nights with specific friends may need to be replaced by other people and other places. Take a hard look at your friends and the people you associate with, and if they aren't going or already where you want to go, you may need
to evaluate whether or not they belong in your life. That is not to say that they are bad people or anything of the sort, however, if you really want what it is you say you want, you need to do what you need to do.

5. Throw your television out the window and burn it. Television is the worst invention of the 20th century. It is a brain sucker and makes people lazy. Watching television for more than an hour creates the same amount of brain activity as sitting in the dark with no radio, no sound, nothing to look at, and nothing to do. You might say, "but Dwayne, all I watch are educational shows." I would say that's fine, however, it still takes time away from doing something productive that will move you closer to your goals. I highly recommend that everyone get rid of that silly box with moving pictures in it.

6. Talk about your dreams with other people you care about. Make sure these are people who support your changes and where you are going. The more you talk about where you are going, the more positive emotional reinforcement you create for those goals. The more you talk about the things you are doing to get there, the more you want to do, and the quicker to attract those things to you.

7. Take the time to read and study the law of attraction more and more. Take the time to learn as much as possible about the law of attraction and the power of human potential. There are numerous books and links to other great teachers of the law of attraction on my site. Be sure to check them all out. Be sure to be careful though. Many people will fall into the trap of only studying and never applying anything they learn. The information is useless unless you apply it. I would rather you apply one lesson than learn a hundred that you just know.

8. Find clubs and organizations that you can join that are full of people who are where you want to be. This can be the most important thing you can do. By associating with people who are where you want to be, you will begin to think and act differently. Their influence can be well worth the investment of time and energy. In fact, the reward could be worth more than any other thing you could do to get to where you
want to be.

9. Find someone to love. If you are already married or have children, then remember them and what you want to give them. If you don't currently have someone, imagine the type of person you want to fall in love with. Love is the most powerful emotion there is. You will do more for people you love than you will for yourself. If creating the life of your dreams for yourself isn't enough, imagine what it would be like to help those you love realize the life of their dreams or what you can offer them if you were to have the life of your dreams.

10. Stop making excuses. There is never an acceptable excuse for anything. There are always reasons, and if you choose to believe them they can be disguised as excuses. However, there is only one reason ever for not living up to your full potential. You chose not to. The more excuses you make, the further from getting there, wherever
there is, that you are. Stop accepting anything other than "consider it done." Anything else coming out of your mouth or mind when it comes to your goals is completely unacceptable and doesn't serve you. Start making excuses for why you were successful instead of why you fail or can't. Remember, ‘can't’ lives on ‘won't’ street. There are no acceptable excuses.
