There are seven major things that get in the way of people finding success with the law of attraction. It is important to evaluate yourself and make sure that you are avoiding these seven pitfalls if you wish to acquire your desire.

1. Not writing down your goals. One of the biggest reasons that most people fail when it comes to the law of attraction is one of the easiest things to do and fix. Most people simply do not write down their goals. They try to keep them in their head and think that trying to remember them will be enough. This will not be enough. You must take the first step of creation by writing down your goals on a piece of paper bringing them into the physical world.

2. People write down their goals then put them some place that those goals gather dust. You must take the time to evaluate your goals, read your goals, connect with your goals on an emotional level. You can’t simply write them down and then expect them to come into your life. You need to take the time every single day to review them and actually feel the feelings of having them.

3. People simply want and take no action. You can’t simply write down your goals and wish that they will come true. So many people do this and then never make any changes at all in the way they talk, the way they think, and the way they act. This would be like slamming a glass on the floor to break it, then slamming it on the floor to try and put it together again. You cannot keep doing what you are doing, thinking what your thinking, and speaking like you are speaking and expect different results. The life you live today is a direct reflection of past thoughts, words, and actions and tomorrow will be a direct reflection of today’s thoughts, words, and actions. Change these if you want to change your life.

4. Most people think and speak way too much in the negative and future tense. The biggest thing you can begin doing right now is starting to think positive and see the positive in everything no matter how bad it may be. There is always a ray of light in even the darkest of places and your ability to see this ray of light will shift your entire emotional and mental focus toward more positive emotions and feelings. Positive emotions and feelings will help to attract what you want much more quickly. You also need to make sure that you are changing the time frame in which you are talking and thinking about what you want. Learn to speak and think about what you want as though it is already a part of your life. Bringing those things from the future, like the million dollars you want, to the present, makes all the difference. The universe doesn’t know time; it simply knows to put things wherever they are in your mind. If you see that million dollars happening tomorrow, the universe will always keep it in the tomorrow, and you know what they say, tomorrow never comes. Think, speak, and act as though you have the million dollars right now and truly believe it and the universe will bow down to your every whim.

5. Most people simply do not believe that they deserve what they want. If you don’t believe in your heart of hearts that you are worthy of having what you want the universe will not believe it either. There must be a deep-rooted belief that you not only deserve what you want, but it is already yours. Just as surely as you believe that the lights will come on when you flip the switch, you must believe that the million dollars you want is already yours. You don’t question whether or not the lights come on; in fact, you don’t give it a second of thought unless they don’t come on. This type of belief must be present when working with the law of attraction. There cannot be even a milli-shred of doubt.

6. Do you take the time to play with your thoughts and the idea of having what you want? You must be playful with the law of attraction. You cannot take it to seriously. As an artist will play with a piece of clay, you must take the idea of having what you want and play with it in your mind. Turn it around and daydream about a thousand different scenarios of how you would use what you want and what you will do when you get it. Of course, you are doing this all from the perspective of already having it right here and right now and not in the future. Imagine your desire is to take a trip to Paris France. What will you go see? What will happen when you are there? Will you go visit the Cathedral De Notre Dame? When you are there, what will you do? Will you take pictures or just sit by the river and enjoy the boats. What kinds of people will talk to you? Will you meet the love of your life there? Will you trip over a crack in the sidewalk and laugh with your loved ones about it? Play with it in your mind and turn it over and over again.

7. When you visualize, do you see yourself taking action, or do you see action being taken from behind your own eyes. When many people visualize they do it from the standpoint of watching themselves doing what they are doing instead of seeing themselves doing it from their own eyes. This has a huge effect on the results you get. Be sure to actually see your hands and see yourself doing it from the same perspective as you are seeing this screen right now. Be sure to avoid watching yourself doing those things you visualize from the perspective of another person, as you would watch someone else cross the street. Experience your visualization from inside yourself as you visualize what you want.
